Contact Congress to Support the No IRIS Act
The No Industrial Restrictions In Secret (No IRIS) Act was reintroduced by Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) and Rep. Glenn Grothman (R-WI). See the relevant press releases from the congressional offices as well as American Chemistry Council:

Why it matters:
EPA uses a flawed Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS) assessment as the foundation for a number of actions, including the recently finalized Toxic Substances Control Act risk evaluation for formaldehyde. See the recent letter to EPA Administrator Zeldin signed by over 80 organizations to alert the new EPA Administrator about the unfair, EPA employee controlled IRIS and steps EPA can take to address problems with this covert assessment process.
IRIS fails to adequately incorporate high quality and relevant science and does not consistently utilize a “weight of the scientific evidence” approach. IRIS is unfit for use in any science-based regulatory process.
Impacted groups:
IRIS has resulted in unreasonable and overly restrictive standards that impact nearly every sector – including agriculture, semiconductor manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, health care and more.
What can you do:
Currently the cosponsors for the House bill include: Rep. Jake Ellzey (R-TX), Rep. Michael Guest (R-MS), Rep. Julia Letlow (R-LA), and Rep. Bruce Westerman (R-AR).
