NAA Releases 2025 Farm Bill Priorities Booklet
Through grassroots development and extensive advocacy work, the National Aquaculture Association (NAA) actively identifies and pursues key legislative priorities which will benefit U.S. aquaculture farms.
This past week, May 12-16, NAA staff and members walked the hill meeting with four Representatives and two Senators and majority and minority staff to the Senate Agriculture Committee advocating for the aquaculture friendly Farm Bill provisions described in the 2025 Farm Bill Priorities booklet.
Staff also met majority and minority staff to the House Natural Resources Committee and majority and minority staff for Senate Environment and Public Works Committee to advocate for amending the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, Endangered Species Act and passing the Cormorant Relief Act.
In addition, staff visited the offices of 51 Representatives and 21 Senators that serve on the House and Senate Agriculture Committee, respectively, to share the 2025 Farm Bill Priorities booklet and answer questions.
Additional Legislative Priorities
Outside of the scope of the Farm Bill, the NAA is also supporting five additional legislative improvements that would substantially benefit farmers all around the country.
