
NAA Annual Membership Meeting

Description
The National Aquaculture Association (NAA) Board of Directors invites all members to attend the NAA’s annual membership meeting. The meeting will occur the evening of March 6, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, Central Time, during Aquaculture 2025 in Room Riverview 1 of the Marriott New Orleans, 555 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70130.
The membership meeting will consist of:
- Treasurer’s Report.
- 2024 advocacy summary.
- Advocacy efforts in 2025.
- Announcement by the appointed Inspectors of Election of the two successful candidates elected by the membership to represent the Individual member category to the Board of Directors.
- Caucuses by National or Regional Aquaculture Associations and State or Species Aquaculture Associations that are NAA members, respectively, to fill two open NAA Board of Director membership positions.
National/Regional and State/Species Association
Two Board of Director positions representing the aquaculture association member category are open for three-year terms.
- A national or regional aquaculture association position currently held by Charlie Conklin, U.S. Trout Farmers Association.
- A state or species aquaculture association position currently held by Michael Lee, California Aquaculture Association.
Association representatives to the Board of Directors must be from NAA member associations, receive a majority of their direct income from commercial aquaculture animal or plant production and will serve on the Board of Directors without compensation.
