The FSMA initiative mandates compliance by January 20, 2026, impacting everyone who manufactures, processes, packs, or holds foods included on the Food Traceability List (FTL). However, some exemptions or partial exemptions could apply to some processors. As part of our commitment to empowering seafood industry stakeholders, the Virginia Seafood Agricultural Research and Extension Center presents this summit to inform attendees about the rule, exemptions, and available technologies.
