Date of Notice: January 29, 2025

Effective Date: January 29, 2025

An updated version of the European Union (EU) Aquatic Animal Health Certificate is available on the Iregs. The changes are minor and primarily pertain to annotations. Click here to view the EU model health certificate for aquatic animals with the updates highlighted. There are no changes to export requirements

Note that the following certificates have been updated on the APHIS Iregs EU page to reflect these changes:

AQUA-ENTRY-ESTAB/RELEASE/OTHER

AQUA-ENTRY-ESTAB/RELEASE/OTHER WILD CAUGHT

AQUA-ENTRY-ESTAB/RELEASE/OTHER RESEARCH

AQUA-ENTRY-ESTAB/RELEASE/OTHER UNLISTED

The changes are effective immediately, but APHIS will continue to endorse the previous version of the certificates through 2/28/2025.

Visit the IRegs Live Animal Export History Page for a quick summary about all new/updated live animal export requirements and negotiated health certificates.
