Invasive Mussel Found in California

The National Aquaculture Association recommends members moving live aquatic animals within California or out of California be alert for this mussel, remove it from shipments, and report finds to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. Emergency regulations prohibiting possession and requiring shipment inspections can be expected.
