The Port of San Diego is proposing to develop a Shellfish and Seaweed Aquaculture Program, which would provide a framework for the Port to guide, consider, and approve future shellfish and seaweed aquaculture activities in and around San Diego Bay. The Port recently released a Discussion Draft of the Shellfish and Seaweed Aquaculture Program giving stakeholders and members of the community the opportunity to review and provide feedback. Comments, data, and discussions on potential opportunities or gaps in the Discussion Draft are all welcome.
