Two Ways to Participate in Creating Sea Grant’s 10-Year Aquaculture Roadmap
The National Sea Grant College Program is seeking feedback via an online input form or from a virtual feedback session from farmers and other aquaculture community members on a ‘straw proposal’ containing high-level concepts to inform a draft Sea Grant 10-Year Aquaculture Roadmap.
The straw proposal is based on the synthesis of existing U.S. aquaculture research and action plans (e.g., aquaculture associations, agency, and other organizational plans), meetings, listening sessions, online input forms, and Roadmap steering committee discussions.
The comments you provide will:
- Help refine the Sea Grant vision, roles, and service area actions to include in the draft Roadmap.
- Contribute actionable details to service area priorities.
Online Input Form
Please take a few minutes to complete this online input form to help shape the content for the final Roadmap (note, if you plan to attend a virtual feedback session, you don’t need to fill out the online input form). You can access the full Straw Proposal presentation to review here. The online input form will be open through 9/30/24.
Virtual Feedback Session
As a reminder, farmers and other members of the aquaculture community may also participate in a 2-hour virtual straw proposal feedback session to review and provide feedback on the Roadmap straw proposal in real-time. If you haven’t done so already, please register for ONE feedback session that best fits your schedule. Once you sign up, you will receive an email confirming your registration and a Zoom calendar invitation.
